Providing a Pathway to Meaningful Careers

Limestone is committed to preparing students from all backgrounds to succeed in today’s rapidly changing world.  By providing opportunities for hands-on learning and tailoring curricula to keep pace with workplace innovations, we will empower students to pursue fulfilling lives.

To ensure Limestone graduates have an avenue to pursue popular professions, the University is developing and launching new degree programs in Education and Health Professions and Business and Professional Studies.  This response to marketplace demands uniquely positions Limestone as the University of Choice in South Carolina.

Our students already benefit from the University’s academic partnerships with area businesses and nonprofit organizations, but to ensure Limestone’s place as a comprehensive regional university we need to extend learning from the classroom to the community.  Today’s students expect to apply their content learning to real-world opportunities no matter the avenue they take to earn their degree.  We must fulfill this expectation to attract talented and diverse students in pursuit of different degree paths.

Where Your Gift Will Make a Difference

Investing in resources to drive change and create interpersonal experiences for all our students, both on-campus and online, will create a culture of excellence and set up our graduates for success.

Included in this campaign goal is support for:

  • New programs fulfilling marketplace demands
  • Academic partnerships and apprentice programs
  • Strategic adjustments to online learning
  • Improved learning experiences across all degree programs
  • Ongoing assessment of current programs using market research and reliable data
  • Innovation in teaching and technology
